High School Youth Group (9th-12th)
The Senior Youth Group consists of high school kids, grades 9th through 12th. They participate in several activities ranging from service projects, to fundraisers towards their annual Workcamp Mission Trip, and simply hanging out with each other.
This group of young adults meets at least once a month.
Yearly service projects include the Omaha Crop Walk, delivering presents with the Salvation Army to elderly residents of Omaha, and collecting food for Project Hope’s Food Pantry.
Fellowship activities include bowling, an annual lock-in, movies, and camping.
Each summer, members of the Senior Youth Group have the opportunity to attend the annual Workcamp Mission Trip.
Each of the youth rally together through fundraisers, dinners, and other exciting activities, in order to raise funds for the mission trip. Once at their worksites, the youth spend a week helping to repair and rebuild the homes of elderly and needy residents. A few of the past mission trip destinations include Red Lake, MN; Hammond, IN; Canton, OH; and Lexington, TN.
