God’s Work Our Hands

In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, in 2013 we began observing God’s Work Our Hands Day on the second Sunday in September. Now in its second year, this annual Day of Service provides us an opportunity to practice our faith by sharing our gifts and energy on behalf of our neighbors. This year, we helped a neighbor with some much needed work at her home as well as working to provide some special gifts for the guests of the Loaves and Fishes food pantry.
