Food for the Journey

Faith is hard. We pretend that it’s easy, we make it about a bunch of rules or traditions or religious positions, but when times of real peril or pain or suffering come our way, we give in to the idolatry of fear and forsake the salvation that God gives us in Jesus Christ. As we travel the journey of life together, we need to be fed along the way. And so we gather each week on Wednesday evenings as families and neighbors, to break bread, to talk about our lives and our world, to seek guidance and help from one another and from God’s word. Come for an hour and be fed in body, mind and spirit for whatever lies ahead on your journey of faith.
