Living Well With Chronic Conditions

Are you or someone you care for living with a long-term health condition such as arthritis, diabetes, high blood pressure, cancer, anxiety, heart disease, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia or many other conditions?

Then the LIVING WELL workshop is for you!

In this 6 week FREE workshop, you will learn:

  • Practical ways to manage symptoms and difficult emotions
  • Better nutrition and physical activity choices
  • Appropriate use of medications
  • How to communicate effectively with family, friends and health professionals
  • How to evaluate new treatment choices
  • Real-life skills for living a full, healthy life with a long-term health condition
  • To feel better about and enjoy life!!
  • Who: Anyone who has, or cares for someone who has a long-term health condition

    What: 2 hour classes, once a week to learn information to help you and your loved-one cope better with chronic illness

    When: Wednesdays, 2-4pm, starting on 4/13/11 and ending on 5/18/11. (4/13,4/20, 4/27, 5/4, 5/11 and 5/18)

    Where: Saint Matthew Lutheran Church 1725 South 60th Street, in the upstairs lounge.
