The St. Matthew Endowment Fund is a permanent depository of gifts
which are invested so that the proceeds can be put to work for special
projects, needs and/or outreach programs of the church as determined
by a congregation elected Board of Trustees.
Every dollar given to the
Endowment Fund remains in the fund permanently.
Endowment Fund giving isn't only for the wealthy, but for all those
who want to ensure God's work continues into the future. Gifts can be
in any amount, from anyone and given at any time.
Contributing to the Endowment Fund is a way to ensure that the gift continues to benefit
these worthy causes for decades.

Distribution
Each calendar year, the Endowment Fund Board determines an annual
distribution amount, taking into account the goal of maintaining the
fund's principal value in light of inflation. This distribution amount
is then available to meet requests upon approval of the Board of Trustees.
The Endowment Fund interest income can be used to enhance the growth and
outreach of the church, its ministries and its stewardship, but not to
support the ordinary, reoccuring budgeted expenses of the congregation,
nor any other organization that would be the recipient of the proceeds.
